ABOUT THIS ASSESSMENT

The A13 works through 13 areas of your structure to show you exactly where exposure exists across your entities, trusts, guarantees, ATO obligations and director liability. Most people are surprised by what turns up. What you share with us is treated with strict confidence and handled in accordance with our privacy policy.

IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU START

These 13 questions are straightforward. No trick questions, no wrong answers. What matters is that you answer honestly. If you’re unsure of something, just say unsure. An approximate answer is always more useful than a guess.

Fill it in on screen or print and complete by hand. Either works. Most directors or business owners get through it in 20 to 30 minutes. You don’t need your accountant, but it helps to have your BAS lodgements, loan documents and trust deed handy.

Question 1. What is the current legal structure of your business?

e.g. Sole trader, partnership, company, trust or a combination. List all entities if more than one.
